About the Journal

The International Journal of Middle Eastern Research (ISSN: 2976-5455) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually by Al-Kindi Center for Research and Development. The journal was founded in 2022 to address the need for scholarly research on Middle Eastern studies. IJMER welcomes academic contributions which analyse political, economic and social dynamics and developments of the Middle East region. Articles on the language, literature, history, politics, economics, anthropology, sociology, geography, philosophy and the religions and cultures of the region are also encouraged.
